The Enterprise Group’s Economic Development Division (EDD) combines the services of Local Development Finance Authorities, Downtown Development Authorities, and the County’s Economic Development Corporation and Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. The EDD provides site selection, development, deal structuring, and tax incentive assistance.
The EG’s Business Success Program is one of our top priorities. The program is specifically used to retain and expand Jackson County businesses. Each year, EDD Staff calls on about 100 businesses, typically accompanied by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
